Laura is the best sound therapist I have been to. Many others I have tried in the past just gave me the treatment. Laura wanted to speak to me about why I felt I needed it and then based the massage and treatment around my needs. She is very talented not just at communicating and being empathetic, but also her voice is is divine and added a layer to treatment I have not experienced before. You have a customer for life now! I cannot recommend Found in Sound highly enough! I have had a number of sessions with Laura now and she is absolutely fantastic. She has created a lovely environment in her treatment room, takes the time to ensure you're comfortable & understand the process. The experience of sound through the body, when the bowls are placed on you & you can feel the vibrations was mind opening! My stress levels have been exceptionally high recently and I have been struggling to sleep. I have been searching around for ways to deal with my issues. A friend suggested I look into sound massage. I have never had one before and I must say that it has helped me immensely. Laura was fantastic at understanding me and explaining what she feels is required to help. The massage itself is wonderful. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted from me and managed to sleep so well. Thank you Laura!

Laura ‘Found in Sound’ is a Qualified & Insured Sound Therapy Practitioner based in Greenwich, London, and Bristol. Specialising in sound massage and sound healing in both individual & group settings, you can visit Found in Sound for a one-to-one treatments in Laura's cosy, safe & homely treatment room based near Greenwich DLR station. Laura has a positive, caring, and compassionate nature, as well as a belief that we all have the power to heal ourselves with the right mindset, tools, and techniques. Sound is one of those tools, and equipped with the right focus & intention, a session with Laura will leave you feeling inspired, rejuvenated and lighter in mind, body, and spirit. Laura got into sound healing, as a result of her own need to heal a series of chronic ailments caused by severe stress. In a stroke of luck, she encountered a poster advertising a 'crystal singing bowl sound bath' which promised calm whilst walking home from her corporate Wellbeing Manager job in London one day. Due to her existing passion and love for wellbeing & music (Laura is also a drum and bass artist aka Riya), she felt drawn to attending. The experience was so profound, so soothing, and so transformative, that she felt compelled to study the field of sound healing, as well as begin regular attendance at sound therapy sessions. This helped turn Laura's health around, and helped her to find herself again, which is why Laura's practice is called 'Found in Sound'. Laura has trained with some of the best Sound Healers in the UK, studying the gong, crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, the drum, the voice, mantra, and therapeutic percussion and her training is ongoing. In 2023, she qualified as a Sound Therapy Practitioner from the British Academy of Sound Therapy with a distinction.

Found in Sound offers restorative Sound Massage, Sound Massage & Reiki and Reiki treatments designed to calm the nervous system, ease tension, and support deep relaxation and balance.

One-to-one sessions take place in a peaceful converted chapel in Sevenoaks, thoughtfully curated with crystals, soft lighting, gentle warmth, and calming sensory details to help you fully unwind and reset.

Each session begins with a gentle full-body vibrational experience using a large standing Buddha bowl. This offers a grounding introduction to sound and helps bring awareness to areas of the body that may benefit from additional care during the session.

You’ll then be offered fresh mineral water and invited to relax on the sofa for a short consultation. This is a space to explore your intentions, preferences, and any areas you’d like the session to focus on.

Your selected therapy of Sound Massage, Sound Massage & Reiki, or Reiki Healing then begins. You’ll rest on a comfortable massage bed fit with a grounding & heated blanket, surrounded by crystals, Himalayan salt lamps, and calming visual elements. Herbal tea or water is available before and after your session.

Laura is an experienced sound therapist and Reiki practitioner with over 20 years’ background in music and voice. Her core training was with the British Academy of Sound Therapy, where she completed over 90 one-to-one case studies and contributed to clinical research in chronic pain, before further training with Simone Salvatici. Laura holds Usui Reiki Levels 1 & 2, is a member of the IPHM, and an Associate Member of the UK Reiki Federation, practising mindfully and ethically. Her work supports clients in reconnecting with their inner guidance, recognising that resistance can be part of the process, and gently restoring harmony and resonance through a holistic, whole-body approach.
