I was a bit apprehensive going to this appointment as I had booked a long time ago and wasn’t sure what to expect.
When I arrived, I was greeted very nicely, offered a drink and my coat was taken from me.
I then had the classic facial with Edith who is absolutely lovely. She is really very sweet and she does a very thorough job. I didn’t feel uncomfortable at all, which was unusual as in the past, I’ve disliked facials and massages.
I’d say that the pictures online don’t do the place justice. The colours look almost lurid in the pictures but you don’t feel they are when you are inside the parlour which is very nice.
I liked that the staff didn’t try to upsell me at the end. This is something that really annoys me as I always feel obliged to pay for something I don’t need. Edith recommended me treatments for the future such as an anti-ageing treatment and then maybe another classic facial in six months. I like that she didn’t push for me to book it in there and then.
The facial was really good. Every step was explained and I didn’t feel like I was having random products put on my face over and over. Each product had a purpose and Edith carried it all out step by step. My skin came out glowing, it’s really never looked better!
