It’s a lovely little spa inside the hotel, with a very welcoming and relaxing environment
Shamila is by dar the best beauty therapist, proven by my continuing visits over the last 20 years. She is extremely professional and knowledgeable re skin and beauty treatments. Amazing at eyebrow threading, paying particular attention to detail and provides amazing facials and massage. I've just started to take my teenage daughters to see Shamila for their eyebrows and waxing, wouldn't trust them with anyone else and my daughters understand why I well we, won't go anywhere else!
A wonderful, caring and very professional service. I have been coming to Essentia Spa for over 10 years and I can honestly say it has been the most amazing experience every time. The service and staff are of a first-class standard and they genuinely care about you and the treatment they are providing. I have recommended Shamila and her team to all my friends and family. You will not regret booking your treatment with Essentia Spa.
Disappointed by Essentia Spa: A Missed Opportunity for Relaxation My recent visit to Essentia Spa left me feeling anything but rejuvenated. From the moment I stepped through the door, it was clear that this establishment lacks the charm and quality one would expect from a reputable spa. The ambiance was anything but tranquil; instead of soothing music and calming scents, I was greeted by the sound of construction and the smell of cleaning chemicals. It was hardly the serene escape I had hoped for. The staff's lack of professionalism was evident from the get-go. The receptionist seemed more interested in gossiping with her colleagues than attending to guests, and my appointment started late due to disorganization behind the scenes. As for the treatment itself, it was utterly forgettable. The therapist's technique was amateurish at best, and instead of feeling relaxed, I found myself tense and uncomfortable throughout the entire session. It was clear that the staff lacked proper training and expertise. To make matters worse, the facilities were in a state of disrepair. The changing rooms were dirty and unkempt, and the amenities were outdated and in desperate need of an upgrade. Overall, my experience at Essentia Spa was a complete disappointment. From the lackluster service to the dismal facilities, it's clear that this establishment falls far short of delivering the relaxing experience it promises. Save yourself the disappointment and seek out a spa that actually cares about its customers' well-being.
Please avoid for foot spa/pedicure. Booked foot spa for me and husband just because appointment was not available at my usual centre. Thought of trying new place looking at reviews but it was the worst pedicure ever. Honestly there were no reviews for foot spa but may be my mistake that I booked still. Leaving review in case it helps others. They have the small foot cleaner with manual water filling and it was not at all comfortable to put your feet while in lying down position on massage bed. The therapist looked very new and probably didn’t know much about pedicure. Dead skin not removed properly and am left with nail paint as if some kid has done painting on my feet nails. They don’t have any selection of nail paints as well. Just few colours in a basket. Will never use again or recommend anyone for foot spa at least. Not worth £40(for men) and £45 (for women) at all.
