I am really looking forward to my appointment at Debenhams for an Elemis facial with Emily today, as it has jogged my memory of what a valuable, nurturing experience it was last time. I had been going through an anxious time, waiting for my husband’s heart test at the Royal Brompton Hospital which was scheduled for the following day. I had not been able to get it out of my mind or relax. The wonderfully relaxing facial managed to do this, whereas I had tried lots of other things without success. From the wonderful welcome I received from the team, the relief I felt at being whisked away into this dimly lit , sanctuary filled with soothing music, the beautiful aroma of the Elemis products being applied and the expert way Emily weighed up what was needed for my skin and worked with total attention, the magic was worked. I fell into a semi-sleep where I was able to let go of fears about my husband’s health and focus on my own well-being. When I left, my skin felt smooth and moist, and looked radiant and rejuvenated, which boosted my morale. It also prompted me to take more care of my night-time cleansing and nourishing routine again.
