I tried there on a group on voucher and was please at the first massage so rthought i had found a gem and book a special buy 5 get one free. The reason for me attending is because i have arthritist in my hips and this affects my movement, massages relieves this for a short while and helps me to get around a little easier. When i first attended the therapist was very friendly but vety quick to come into the room whilst preparing to hit the bench. At first i did not take any notice of this as i thought Ok i not embarased if this is the way she works. But after a few sessions ( baring in mind my condition)
she started to get annoyed if i wasnt ready for her and showed at one stage with a very heavy massage that i felt i had been mugged. She obviously shared her thoughts with some other girls in the saloon because at one stage in the middle of a massage some girkls were giggling outside and she stopped what she was doing and shouted to them yes.yes. in her language, which i thought then oh no I have three more of these to go. Any way the masssages did get better but her attitude towards me got worse. It is a shame as her technique was very good at times, and maybe i should have changed therapists half way through. Another thing dsshe told me off for was boolking her before 2pm, albeit I was told that they started at 12noon. She even wrote a note obviously for my attention on her ipad stating that if i should want her to be her . Never again , i suppose you get what you pay for. appolgise for the spelling. by the way her adopted english name is Jenny if your brave enough. :0)
Whilst the surroundings were anything but luxurious, the facial itself was top quality, better than many I've had at big name spas at three times the price. My therapist was incredibly thorough, taking an hour and a half over an 80 minute treatment. Great facial massage too.

I booked this as a treat as I just got engaged and was really looking forward to it, but left feeling quite upset after how I was treated. My normal places I get gel nails done were busy and this was the only one I could find with space with 2 days notice - now I know why. I went on my lunch hour, arrived on time and waited 25 minutes for the nail technician to arrive - she wasn't with another client, she came from outside so I assume had overran her lunch. There was no apology or smile for making me wait nearly half an hour. She just sat down, grabbed my nails and pointed to the colours without saying anything. When I asked a question on the colours, she looked at me like I was mad and a huge inconvenience. Now for the actual 'beauty treatment', I have been to many nail bars and many beauty salons, and I have never in my life been treated with such rudeness. She talked the whole way through in Chinese with the other staff (even though they all spoke perfect English), then randomly walked off about 3 times without saying anything whilst my nails were drying. In every salon I have been to before, the nail technician at least tries to make some polite conversation, when I tried to, she just ignored me. Normally nail technician's tell you what they are going to do, but she just pointed and grunted when it was time to put my hands in the drier or give her my hand. The whole experience was just awful as she made me feel like me being there was a huge inconvenience to her, she was so rude and I just felt awkward the whole time. On top of this, everything was dirty on the table and the drier for the nails was covered in dirt, and she kept leaving gel colour marks on my nails and hands - it was only once I asked her to remove the excess colour on my skin, that she grunted and removed it. I couldn't wait to get out of there, but after the nail technician being late, then randomly wandering off a few times, it took ages and I was really late for work and left feeling quite upset. I am only writing a review so others know, as it is normally a treat to get your nails done, but if you go here you will certainly not feel like this. I have booked many nail and other treatments through Treatwell, and have always been very pleased, so this was a huge disappointment, made worse considering it was a treat as I just got engaged.

Enjoyed this very much, the masseuse was knowledgeable and very agreeable to talk to, and the massage quite original and I felt revitalised afterwards. Always nice in Chinatown.
