The woman doing my facial made this it bad experience. She started by trying me make me pay extra for 'collagen ultrasound', and when I declined told me 'oh, then you are just wasting your money paying for a normal facial', and seemed quite annoyed. Of course she was completely unaware that I am a Doctor who has spent time training in Dermatology, and I know that there is no clinical evidence that ultrasound does anything to stimulate collagen growth ( although it is very trendy amongst Spas and Physios).
Secondary, she was not physically present for half of the facial. In my experience with other salons, the therapist would give a head, neck or hand massage while the mask was applied, but this therapist would apply the mask and then just leave the room for long periods at a time.
There are lots of other salons in the same area who do not try to give you the hard sell even before the facial starts, with much friendlier therapists. Given that I really was just given the very basic treatment, despite paying for a deluxe facial (ie no massage, no cold pore closure, no hydration serum), it was really poor value for money.

I have been there for shampoo and blow dry. The massage during the shampoo was relaxing and curls after that were lovely. The stylist was in no hurry and took enough time to give nice curls to my straight hair. It was a bad day,rain must have ruined my lovely curls but thnks to the staff, they clipped my curls in a way that came back home and when I unclipped my hair, the curls were just wonderful!!!My husband loved my new look!!!Thank you Guys!!!

I needed a massage that day so was limited to where I could go. I wouldn't have chosen here due to some of the other reviews but I have to say it was great! There was definitely no smell of Chinese food and it's nice once you are up the stairs and in the salon. I found all the staff really friendly and efficient. The best bit was the massage from Kay. Amazing. I got minor whiplash from a Go Karting accident (!) and she checked thoroughly that I was given the all clear from the doctor to get massaged. My back was in a mess and I was getting headaches, this massage was hard in pressure in order to actually help - and I'm pleased to say it has made me all better!
