Reasonable massage but the therapist seemed to need an awful lot of reassurance, which did get a bit tiresome after a time and seemed more designed to elicit a tip than anything else. Good value for money though and I would go again.
Probably the best massage I have ever had. I booked last minute as my back was aching and the masseus sorted out all my aches and pains. I will certainly be back for a longer session next time.
Elegant Studios has been done up since I last came, it was calmer and you couldn't hear the noise from the salon anymore. They give great massages at quite decent prices compared to most places. However, on this occasion, I wish my masseuse had taken my requests to concentrate on specific areas more seriously. I made a 100min appointment as my back was killing me. I'd been before and the previous masseuse fixed me up (it wasn't a relaxing session in any way but it did the trick!). Maybe because of the 100 minutes, I was given a routine all over massage but what I really really needed was work on my back. I had said so when she entered the room and I had to ask again when I was turned over. Unfortunately by the time she got into my shoulders we only had about 5min left and it was a rush to do something. If you have a specific need for the masseuse to work on a particular area, make it as explicit as you can from the start. Specify where you want work e.g. back, neck, etc and where you don't want work e.g. stomach, feet etc.
Good value hair straightening. My hairdresser Venice was very nice and friendly and gave me a nice layered cut. The quality of the straightening is on par if not better than what I've experienced in Asia and definitely better than the one time I visited a Japanese hat salon in London for straightening.
