I have had microdermabrasion treatments with Marianna over a 6 treatment package course I bought online and wanted to write a summary of my experience, as this was very new to me and I thought it might helpful to others. I have had hormonal breakouts leaving very noticeable scars which, although were healing, were taking 3 months (or more) to completely heal and fade away. Once all the breakouts had subsided and redness had gone I was left with pigmented marks; I sought out methods of speeding up the scar healing and decided to go for microdermabrasion as I didn't want to use as much makeup as I had been every morning just to get out of the door! The treatment in layman's terms is a professional type of exfoliation - top tip: the little grains get everywhere, so not a day to wear a low top as I had a small sand pit situation going on the first time! My skin is quite sensitive but I did not have any adverse reactions to this at any point, although I did tell the aesthetician this beforehand and she recommended treatments 4 weeks apart. There isn't any down time afterwards and I could apply sunscreen, makeup, etc. before leaving to go back to work. I have through the course of treatments seen gradual improvement, not only in the scars but also how smooth my skin has become. I recommend this to anyone looking to give skin a renewed life, it has certainly achieved what I wanted. Plus, a week back a colleague asked if I was using a new foundation and I was so mortified as that day I hadn't had time to put makeup on and meant to at some point in the day... She followed the question with, as I began to turn red, "your skin looks so even and smooth..." ; I was delighted! Hope this helps someone.
I have a gel manicure regularly by Tatiana and she is very good. I have been coming here for 7 months and my nails are stronger than this time last year as where I was going to before the nail bar removed the vanish with an electric file which weakened my nails. At elegant beauty they remove by soaking the vanish and then gently removing the vanish which doesnt damage the nail. I highly recommend elegant beauty the staff are always friendly and very helpful.
I have been coming to Elegance Beauty Clinic for the past 14 months and I have found that the staff are very friendly, very professional. Surprised to read the negative reviews but itseems these negative reviews are placed by cheap voucher holders. I would have no hesitation to recommend Elegance Beauty Clinic to all my friends. It is always a wonderful experience when I go there.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful! I was extremely scared and embarrassed as I have never had laser treatment before, but I was made to feel extremely comfortable. I thought it was going to be a painful experience but it doesn't hurt at all! It feels like a patch of heat on your skin (if that) very good experience! Would definitely recommend treatment at elegance to others!
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Got a special offer on Groupon for 3 microdermabrasion and didn't want to return after one! Staff were so rude constantly giving the hard sell. I asked if she would remove my milia and she said I should get a facial, despite the fact that milia are under the skin so a facial would make no difference, and offered me an extortionate price to do so if I didn't get the facial. She badgered the woman before me into purchasing 2 beauty products for £180. Not relaxing at all. When I asked a question about a comment she made about my skin, she said 'I don't know, maybe it's because you have acne'. Not very helpful. And she completely overlooked me and failed to treat me well assuming I had no money due to the voucher and my unwillingness to buy everything suggested. Never again!
