The salon was lovely and the young beautician was very welcoming, professional, and did a great job. My only criticism is with the paucity of colour choice - I am used to having a much wider colour palette from which to choose, whereas the colours were pretty boring and standard.
I ened up having a Brazilian but wasn't told till afterwards that that would cost more. Otherwise all good tho!
Both my friend & I had vouchers and it was our first time at the salon and first time having Microdermabrasion. 3 sessions with 3 different therapists all good and we found they explained the treatment each time individually as we have very different skins. Although I understand the therapists must encourage future sales there was no hard sell , all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable . Would recommend and use again in the future.
I had a fantastic experience at Elegance Beauty Clinic. The staff was professional and super friendly. They didn't rush and epxlained everything that they were doing. They also siad that if I experience any problems with my nails, I could come in for a fix for free and they have a loyalty card scheme too. I will definitely go back and will not hesitate to reccomend the clinic to other people.
I have had microdermabrasion treatments with Marianna over a 6 treatment package course I bought online and wanted to write a summary of my experience, as this was very new to me and I thought it might helpful to others. I have had hormonal breakouts leaving very noticeable scars which, although were healing, were taking 3 months (or more) to completely heal and fade away. Once all the breakouts had subsided and redness had gone I was left with pigmented marks; I sought out methods of speeding up the scar healing and decided to go for microdermabrasion as I didn't want to use as much makeup as I had been every morning just to get out of the door! The treatment in layman's terms is a professional type of exfoliation - top tip: the little grains get everywhere, so not a day to wear a low top as I had a small sand pit situation going on the first time! My skin is quite sensitive but I did not have any adverse reactions to this at any point, although I did tell the aesthetician this beforehand and she recommended treatments 4 weeks apart. There isn't any down time afterwards and I could apply sunscreen, makeup, etc. before leaving to go back to work. I have through the course of treatments seen gradual improvement, not only in the scars but also how smooth my skin has become. I recommend this to anyone looking to give skin a renewed life, it has certainly achieved what I wanted. Plus, a week back a colleague asked if I was using a new foundation and I was so mortified as that day I hadn't had time to put makeup on and meant to at some point in the day... She followed the question with, as I began to turn red, "your skin looks so even and smooth..." ; I was delighted! Hope this helps someone.
