The staff were friendly but the hairdresser didn't seem to understand what I wanted even though I tried to explain a few times and showed a photo. She also completely ignored one of my instructions. What she then did was very uneven and took her at most 10 minutes when I'd booked a 45 minute slot. If you are just going there for a quick trim it would be absolutely fine and is good value but I would not go back or recommend it to anyone for anything other than that.
Ladies' Haircuts
This is the worst haircut I've ever had — completely sub-standard. The hairdresser barely spoke English, which meant I couldn't fully explain what I wanted. She did not use professional cutting techniques, at one point simply letting the hair hang (without holding it), and chopping the ends without checking the line. She kept taking length off the back when I had asked her to focus on the front, and couldn't understand me when asked her to add layers at the front. In the end, I told her to stop, paid, went home and sorted out the mess with a pair of kitchen scissors myself.
The salon was also messy and dirty, and I was not greeted when I came in.
It feels like I represented some "quick money" for the business, at the expense of my hair, which is now far shorter than I'd hoped it would be. Not worth the £15 at all.
