I chose this massage based on the reviews I read. I had wanted a pregnancy massage and facial so this seemed ideal. Unfortunately my experience wasn't quite the same. I arrived at the counter and was given a consultation form. The therapist told me that it would be a 75min treatment that included a 10 min back massage and the rest of the time would be dedicated to a facial. I was slightly confused as I thought it would be more than a back massage based on the reviews and the fact that this treatment came under 'pregnancy massage'. In any case, by the time we got to the treatment room it was almost 20mins past the time my treatment was meant to have started, but I assumed that it would be still be 75mins of treatment from the time we began. This was not the case. It could have just been my therapist, but the total treatment time was just shy of an hour. She also did not seem to be familiar with the treatment as despite saying I should take off my top and bring my trousers down to the waist area, after the back massage, which did not last 10mins, she told me she would wrap my belly in a masque and give me a leg massage. The latter actually didn't happen until after she had started the facial and had left what I assume to be masque on my face. The leg massage was mostly of my feet as I had not taken my trousers off. There were a lot of what I considered to be wasted mins as she was rumbling through drawers very loudly trying to find things. She also consistently wiped her hands very roughly on the towel by my head which I felt was unprofessional. As a person, she was lovely, but she seemed very inexperienced. I have had many massages and facials before and this was definitely below par. She didn't not ask about pressure when massaging, nor ask if I had areas that required more attention. She did not ask me about my skin type before starting the facial (and it was not in the form either) nor did she tell me anything about any of the products being used. My experience has led me to feel that it was not good value for money nor will I be returning, either for a facial or massage. I have since booked another massage at another venue.

The spa was a welcome calm retreat from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street. The massage itself was lovely, although 30 minutes isn't quite long enough to relax fully. I would definitely recommend - and go back!
