This was my first experience of a barbers and boy did it not disappoint! I had grown what I can only describe as an enthusiastic, first-time beard and it needed taming. I had been looking on YouTube at different beard styles (via Beardbrand) and came across Cut and Grind, so decided to pay a visit.
We arrived on a soggy Sunday afternoon to be greeted with a smile and a much-needed coffee. The barber was great. He spoke at length with me and my partner about what would work best, and from that point onward he did his best to put me at ease. He chatted throughout to both of us which made the hour fly by.
The experience was just fantastic, and I am really pleased with the results. I will certainly be visiting again (even though I live in Cornwall!). Thank you so much!

Very disappointed - I have been here a few times over the past 2 months and each time has been great. This time however, there was confusion over my re-scheduled booking, which got things off to a bad start. I also (pre) paid around £55 for a quick trim (back and sides) and for a full 30 minute beard trim, which felt rushed and was done in around 15 minutes with no blade, no hot towel etc - it all felt very rushed and I didn't feel like a valued (or respected) customer. Not sure if I would return. Horrible value for money this time around.

This was my first experience at Cut and Grind and I can definitely say that I will be returning again in the future. I had some expectation of the quality and was very pleased that it lived up to my expectations. I was taken care of by Mazie who did an absolutely fantastic job of getting to know what I wanted and was excellent company throughout. She had excellent attention to detail and it was all the little touches that added up to be a fantastic experience. I've already told my friends about my experience and would definitely come back when I want to treat myself again!
