My everyday glasses were stolen from the spa by either the customers who were in the changing rooms/tea area at the same time or a staff member (as they kept steaming up and didn’t notice them fall out of my bag). Despite mentioning this to the staff immediately once my friend helped me search my bag outside + leaving a voicemail with the venue a week later, nobody has contacted me since which is disgusting as I’m over £200+ out of pocket, let alone the inconvenience of not being able to see whilst new ones are ordered!
It’s such a shame as it was my second time coming here (last in 2023 which was also pleasant) for a friend’s birthday and the actual hammam wasn’t bad at all. Mayss (the masseuse) was lovely and I would genuinely recommend her, but I’m appalled by the business’s refusal to do anything but “sorry, we’ll let to know if we find them” and proceed to ignore me. AVOID!

Rohnia and Maize did our hammam treatment tonight. I must say that we've been to your hammam so many times but the two ladies today were absolutely excellent. It is actually one of our best experience to date. They were very meticulous in their techniques, took their time to give a good massage and very detailed in their scrubbing and very careful. They made sure our faces weren't full of soap also. In conclusion both ladies were so good - they deserve a mention. We will ask for them again when we go back to Crystal spa. Thank you.

I came here with my partner today. I had the best experience from the front door till the end. Ohan provided me with the best massage, feeling really light and limber afterwards. I will definitely be back soon. Thank you

I visited Crystal Palace Spa with my mum and unfortunately our experience in the hammam was very disappointing due to poor hygiene and facilities.
The hammam area was visibly dirty. The same scrub glove appeared to be used for multiple clients, the scrub room was not cleaned between sessions, and the same bucket was reused, which is not acceptable from a hygiene standpoint. The changing room was also dirty and disorganised.
There was an open window in the changing area, which made the space very cold and uncomfortable and increases the risk of getting sick, especially in winter. The showers were poorly equipped — there were no hooks or shelves to hang a shower bag — and the hot water ran out after a few minutes, forcing us to finish with cold water.
The only positive point was the steam room, which was good.
Since returning from the hammam, my eyes have been red and irritated, which is concerning and adds to my dissatisfaction with the cleanliness standards.
