This was my 3rd visit to colour my life. I apprecite fully its a no thrills salon at unbeatable value but my recent experience was awful. I felt a little rushed at the begining which was fine, it was a busy Saturday. I had my colour done by Marco (who did a brillant job) after that it all went down hill. I had my hair washed in the basin and the water started to go cold. I then layed there for ages with shampoo on my head whilst the tried to fix it. Which they couldnt. I then had my hair washed super quickly with ice cold water, water sprayed all over my face due to the poor girl rushing it as it was giving me a headache. She did apologise. There needs to be a back up plan for this happening. Then the hairdresser I had dragged a tangle teezer through my hair ripping out so much. He asked if it was ok (I think he saw my pained face) I said well no. My hair has been washed with ice cold water and not conditioned properly and my hair is so tangled its never like this when I wash it at home. He looked at me blankly then carried on ripping out my hair. He asked about the cut -I only wanted a trim and am growing out the layers. He didnt look or assess my hair and just demonstrated how much he would cut. I asked for less. Any way. I had a big chunk cut off and layers put back in. The blowdry again was terrible he kept knocking my head with dryer and didnt check that the heat was ok remembering my ice cold hair wash either. When I was finished he told me I was done and took my cape and went over to the cash desk. He didnt show me my hair with a mirror and I had the tiniest spray of hairspray. The whole thing was aweful and I am very disappointed as there was no customer care what so ever. Im not happy with my hair and will not be returning now. I was not offered any compensation for the wash and shampoo and if I hadnt paid online I would have refused to pay for the wash cut and blow dry.

A pleasant environment and friendly staff. My stylist Marco was very nice - I wish I could get a blow dry with him every day!

I was really happy with my highlights and cut by Nadia, she was very thorough and gave good advice about my hair. I took a risk and went slightly darker on her advice and I love the result. I'll definitely go back to her and will feel brave enough to try something new such as ombre in her capable hands! The deal for highlights was excellent and I wasn't charged more even though my hair is very thick. It took a long time but it always does with my hair!

When I arrived it was really busy and it took about 5 minutes before anyone came over to ask if I needed help/had an appointment. Once I was seated though everyone was really friendly. Loved the highlights and cut and great value for money!
