It was my first time at colour my way today. I had a wash cut and blow dry and I have to say that I really like the haircut.
I think that you have good value for the price. I arrived 10 min earlier of the time scheduled and they started with me straight away. the service has been fast and the guy that cutted my hair has been really lovely.
Would probably only go here a gain of I couldn't get an appointment elsewhere. Hairdressers didn't really seem like they wanted to be there and came away still having split ends.
Also ridiculously busy and they had to change my appointment
Loved my highlights by Jade, she was very meticulous and did a good job of looking after me throughout. I was seen on time and was pleased with the results.
Extremely busy salon (to me is a good sign) regardless of having 5 reminders about my appointment I was seen 35 min later. Then asked what I wanted and then another 15 min to get someone back to me. The colour done by Andrew was absolutely perfect and he took the time to make sure all my foils were thorough. My low rating doesn't reflect badly on the staff (who by the way, seem bouncing from one client to another in order to keep 'business running') but looked like they had too many bookings for the number of people actually working.
As a client, I want to have the staff focus and dedicated to the service the offer. I felt they were trying to juggle the many ladies waiting for the next step in the process. The person I was booked with was busy so I was coloured by Andrew (fab) then sat in the sofa for like an hour with my foils, then was rush to get it wash but there was no room at the sinks. Finally one lady was taking away, then it was my turn, but they run out of hot water. I was sympathetic until then.
A junior staff manage to get my wash and toner sorted, but there was not stylist available, so I waited again until one of them was free. By the time I sat down, the stylist was more concern with other matters and after being interrupted several times and walking away through my cut, he quickly finished and then called someone to do the blow dry. The junior staff was again in charge of sorting my hair. She tried her best, but I was not impressed by her technic (which looked like I had done it at home). I was not offered a treatment and perhaps that would have benefit the final look.
I was not offered a mirror to see the back of my head, just asked about my coat so I could leave. I was there from 12.30 until 5.30... 5 hours later, mostly waiting for someone to do next step.... lots of waiting gaps.
Like I say, the salon was extremely busy and I can see they are very popular. The colour was fantastic, they offer me tea, they look very professional, but never apologised for running late. There was no room to sit everyone, perhaps due to volume of clients, but in the hours I spent waiting I saw many ladies looking fab when leaving.
My advice would be to either get more staff who can concentrate in their clients or perhaps limit the amount of bookings given so the volume of work can be handle. Right now I have mixed emotions about wether to return or keep looking for a hairdresser.
