The salon is nicely decorated and was busy when I arrived. I was asked who I was and when my appointment was by 4 different stylists, and had to move chairs 3 times before they could start my hair cut, so all a bit hectic! The hair wash was very good and used lovely products. The guy cutting my hair took a lot more off than I wanted, but maybe I wasn't clear enough, and I do really like the result. I did ask for a normal blow dry and he started to curl it before I had to ask him to stop, so he was really nice but seemed very rushed and I don't think he really listened. However, a good cut and lovely products used. Maybe going at a quieter time would be easier.

They were great at Colour my life! I've def found my hair salon for my time in London! Very professional, it did take 2 hours which is what they said to me it would take so that was nice. I got there 15 minutes early and they squeezed me in so happy all round.

This was the second time I went to Colour my Life for a full head of highlights, toner, cut and blow dry. The first time I had a stylist called Andrei and he was amazing which is why I went back. Unfortunately Andrei was not around on the day I booked and I had a lady hair stylist, I did not catch her name. She was very unpleasant. All she did was complain infront of me to her colleague about how many hair colours she had to do on that day. She was very rough with my head and I felt she really could not be bothered. I have been having my hair coloured for 15 years and this is the first time I have ever felt nervous my hair would not come out the way it should do. The hair stylist was putting the foils on my head and she couldn't be bothered to even fold the foils properly. When she was washing my hair I had water in my eyes, when she was blow drying my hair she burnt my scalp so many times with her hair dryer it was painful. Not only this when it came to cutting my hair she only cut the ends she didn't even do my side fringe. To be really honest from the moment I sat down in the chair I just wanted to get out which is why I didn't say anything at the time. When I managed to escape I got home straightened my hair properly and surprising (I am not quite sure how) my hair turned out ok. Its not the best hair colouring ive ever had but it wasn't horrible which is what I expected after the service I received on the day. I personally think the price is so good the salon is now very popular with not enough staff to keep up with the demand and now the hair dressers are struggling. When I was there , there was 5 of us girls getting their hair coloured with only two hair stylists.
The price is great, yet I will never be going back again and I personally would not recommend it. Again personally, I would rather pay a little more and get the service I feel is deserved.

This hairdressers always does a brilliant job, and it's insanely good value! Can't think of many places that would happily take their time on a customers hair until after ten on a friday night!
