Firstly there was no real consultation, brief hello then taken straight to the wash basin and so was asked what i wanted with sopping wet hair and we all know its very difficult to explain your hair (movement/style/texture) with wet hair. The hair wash itself was not good, i have very thick hair and basically my scalp never really got wet - i left the salon feeling like my hair needed washing which is always such a disappointment after having a blow dry. Needless to say there was no head massage. The cut itself was fine, could have done with a bit my attention to detail (checking it was even and taking out some of the weight etc). The blow dry was okay except for the fact the underneath was still wet and he clearly hadn't really bothered with the back (and of course didn't give me a mirror so that i can see the back).
Given haircuts here are very cheap and I don't hate the cut I give 2 stars but the customer care and quality of service really was very poor. If just one of these things had happened i wouldn't really mind but all of these little things together makes for a very disappointing experience. It would take so little effort to improve.

My hair was blowdried beautifully and the curls remained for a couple of days so that was great!
The deal included a "conditioning treatment", when I asked the hairdresser confirmed that it was the conditioner he used on my hair during washing... not the type of conditioning treatments I'm used to which are left on for at least 5mins!
It was also a little alarming that my hair was washed straight away (no consultation on the current state of my hair/what I wanted while it was dry), not sure if as a result I was able to convey exactly what I wanted as there was barely any communication throughout!

My stylist was fantastic! Usually I go and get the same cut and colour however she suggested something new for me which looks great. Staff were friendly and overall experience was great! Also not to mention exceptional value for money.
