What I most liked was the colour result of the highlights, which is not usually so good for this prize, so I am really happy about the relation Prize-value.

After reading mixed reviews online I went into Colour My Life with low expectations, which ended up being the right thing to do. This is not a top end salon, but it is fine for what it is. I kept it basic and asked for a trim, about 0.5 inches off the ends plus side swept bangs. Don't expect an out of world head massage. It was fine, but nothing extraordinary. The cut was fine also. The girl who cut my hair (I didn't catch her name) did a fantastic job of making me feel comfortable and welcome. When I was unsure about what I wanted to do with my bangs, she was accommodating and told me I could come in after if I didn't like it and get it fixed for free. I was pleased with my cut and the styling she did. The only thing I would note is there seemed to be some slight drama in the salon. Not sure what was going on, but it wasn't particularly professional. It didn't take away from the experience though.

Unfortunately had a bad experience with this salon. After messing up my booking, I was seen to 10mins late. I didn't receive the treatment and the wash I had felt more like a rinse. I had booked for a wash, cut, finish and treatment - 1 hour but instead received a super quick wash, cut and finish and was in and out in 35mins. The hairdresser I had was good and he did cut my hair well but it all felt a bit rushed. There was a lady getting her hair washed before me and finished after me! Other customers were offered tea and coffee, I wasn't offered anything. The front of house staffer was quite rude and I didn't feel welcome there at all. There are better salons in the area. I won't be going back.

I had a wash, cut and dry and was very impressed with the result. Really good value for money and the staff were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning.
