Great value for money and good end product however the salon was dirty and the customer experience was poor - for example they were about to sit me down on a basin with the seat covered in water and the basin filled with black hair and someone else's dye. They hand you over to newbies to shampoo your hair and got shampoo all over my face and in my eyes, cold water used and the girl was very uninterested. Only reason I come back is for the value for money aspect.
Maybe it was just a bad day for them but my experience was not good. I was asked to take a seat, there was no seat, they brought some kind of stool, I waited for 15 minutes beyond my appointment time, then greeted by a stylist who sat me down, I was given coffee and then the stylist decided to move me to another part of the salon, then asked me how I wanted my colour and cut, then went away and was chatting to another client who was paying his bill. I waited and waited then went to the desk and said, "If you don't want to do this today can you please refund my money?" Then she said, "I was checking your colour history" (this was my first visit), even though we had just spent 15 minutes looking at colour samples and discussing it. Then, colour on, she set the timer and said she'd pull the colour through in 25 minutes. Timer went off, looked around, the stylist was nowhere to be seen. I finally got someone's attention and she said, "No basin available". Another 5 minutes, "I'll be taking over". This annoyed me because I had discussed with the other lady what kind of cut I wanted at length, and didn't want to waste more time telling somebody else. Then it was, "OK, she'll finish you." Finally, I thought at a resolution, my colour came out bad and she initially cut my hair exactly the way I told her I DIDN'T want it done, and moaned when I asked her to fix it. So I hope that this was just a one-off and the experience would be better on another day. However, I will not be returning.
