Avoid at all costs - my healthy strong nails that only had one manicure in the last 12 months were absolutely destroyed by Cocos beauty lounge. They used the drill to take the entire gel manicure off, and in doing so removed almost the full thickness of my nails, a practice which I have since been told by other salons should not be done, the drill should only be used to take the surface of the gel off. Some nails have disintegrated, all are paper thin, hypersensitive and very painful. Avoid!!

As soon as I walked in, I was not even asked to sit down and totally ignored. After a 20 minute wait, I was seen to with no niceties, the beautician asked if I was using retinol prior to my upper lip wax. I specified I was using a moisturiser containing retinol and she assured me it would be fine and proceeded. The next day, I had a terrible wax burn and my skin had badly broken out in that area. I also asked to get my acrylic extensions removed. She did an awful job and charged me £22.
