Horrendous haircut - I am having to have my previously waist length hair cut into a bob as a result of visiting this salon. I attended Civette for a wash, cut and blow dry. I explained the type of cut I was after very clearly. My waist length thick, wavy hair needed a couple inches off and to be layered in a feathered fashion, in order to take some of the weight out. It all started terribly - Veronika (stylist) did not use conditioner on my thick hair after washing and proceeded to rip into the subsequent matted knots with a tangle teaser which was painful (not to mention damaging to my hair). My appointment was at 5pm and at 5.19 (!!!) Veronika (stylist) asked if I was happy with the cut! That's right. 19 minutes from consultation, wash, to finished cut. She had layered my hair minimally and I again asked for her to take some weight out and to feather the layers more. She proceeded to chop into my hair in huge chunks at random, before drying and styling it in such a curled fashion it was impossible to tell the shape of the cut. I washed my hair immediately when I got home and found my hair now sat in chunks at two separate lengths around 5 inches apart. No layers, just 2 lengths. It's like a bob sitting on top of long hair. I am absolutely stunned that someone so inaquate is allowed to hold a pair of scissors, nevermind let loose on customers hair! Very upset and disappointed, I have been reduced to tears and will be having my hair cut into a bob, which is around 6inches shorter than I would ever want it tomorrow.
