Booked a Hollywood wax for the last appointment of the day. Arrived and there were 2 people in there and a bunch of young children running around. I was shown into a room which had stained towels in it, no music or relaxed atmosphere. At the start of my treatment the therapist said she wanted to use hot wax instead of warm wax which I agreed to but she failed to tell me it was going to cost me £5 extra until the end. It was painful, which it isn’t normally, and she failed to get a lot of the hair. The children were running down the corridor shouting during it and at the end when I was getting changed one of them burst into the room, as I was half naked. All in all a terrible experience and I will never return.

A great environment with happy, friendly and efficient staff. My massage was just what I needed and I felt looked after and relaxed the whole time I was there. I will definitely go again and recommend to my family and friends.

Perhaps I chose the wrong facial but it was not an enjoyable experience. The treatment involved a quick cleanse, a session where steam was directed at my face for 10 minutes, the therapist then trying to squeeze blackheads - that was so painful I had to ask her to stop (I’ve never experienced pain before). She then applied a mask and said ‘we’ll leave that to work for 10-15 mins’. After a few minutes, I asked if I should be getting a massage or something to fill the time - she said no. I’ve never been ‘left’ before - usually, I have a head massage or a hand massage. I could apply a face mask and leave it for 15 mins at home! To be fair, after some persuasion, the therapist agreed to give me a head massage.
