spa facilities not as up to date as some resorts and rather lacking

lunch was great
lovely house and grounds but I felt cold all day during my visit
Detox package was excellent value, lasting about 2.5 hours with relaxation time afterwards. Outside hot tub is excellent with great views of the garden area. Went between Xmas and New Year so it was quite busy and sometimes difficult to find relaxing chairs to sit on. Staff helpful.
lovely facilities and surroundings, bit fussy when changing robes though. had two treatments, one was fabulous and the other very dissapointing, swimming pool a bit far from steam and sauna.
Had a lovely day with my cousin at CHAMPNEYS. Enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi, the aquafit lesson, love the actual house and decor - much improved since last visit. Lunch was nice, lots of choice. A few points let it down- pool wasn't as warm as expected. Facial wasn't great, I'm sure I didn't get the full 25 minute treatment, after filling in the form which I didn't actually sign. Didn't feel this was worth £39. Couldn't understand our waiter or one of the therapists, English not good enough.
