Brilliant value on the 2for1 offer - would go back in a heartbeat. Slippers and robe included. Quality of the buffet meal was outstanding.
Lovely day - great value at £49 each - but I don't think I would pay the full price. The staff were very welcoming and helpful - they didn't make us feel inferior because we were 'just' day guests, which some places do. Delicious lunch and great treatments and we particularly enjoyed sunbathing by the outdoor pool!
Staff on arrival very welcoming. Nice touch to be offered a look round although given a "welcome" pack with detailed map! The pool was big and temp. ideal! The highlight for me was the thalassotherapy pool - very relaxing and invigorating, Gary, in charge, was very helpful,funny & informative regarding the pool. Lunch, buffet, was very good, staff helpful but looked unfriendly so it seemed awkward to request a cup of tea after lunch! The treatments we all had were excellent as were the therapists! Some areas of Champneys looked a little "worn" re decor & flooring but perhaps I'm being too picky. Overall a great day out & catch up with friends.
Bit dissapointed we did not get any of our requested treatment slots but I realise this would be difficult. However I like Champneys a lot........... Forest Mere is a lovely venue and this offer was very good value thank you.
Two for one, fantastic mum and daughter day. The grounds and the hotel are beautiful, the food was really great.
