I booked a gel manicure last minute (the day before the appointment). I was pleased there was a space available late afternoon. The manicure was great and included a cuticle tidy which many salons don’t include for this price and I was also offered a third coat of gel polish. The polish has lasted very well and I wouldn’t hesitate to go to this salon again. Great experience!
Treatment by Nails
I received a high quality pedicure from Amie. I was really pleased with the finished treatment and would definitely recommend her to friends; Amie was very friendly, thorough and professional. All elements of the treatment were good, including the temperature of the water, shaping of the nails, range of colours to choose from, removal of dead skin and application of polish.
The other staff in champneys are always very friendly, greet me by my name and couldn’t do more to help whenever you speak to any of them.
My one criticism for this visit was that I placed a booking for one time via treatwell, and received an email the following day from champneys to inform me that my booking had been brought forward by 2 hours. When I contacted them to try and reschedule, they were completely booked up for all other slots that weekend (shows how popular they are!). I was keen to go ahead with my treatment so I moved my plans around to accommodate the appointment I was given but it’s a bit annoying that champneys don’t immediately inform treatwell of the most up to date available treatment times.
