Upon entering the wax room the bed had not been cleaned after previous customer. The towel that lay on it had two brown marks and was not taken away for my appointment. The therapist who did my wax was lovely, however the waxing was extremely painful. The wax would not come off on a couple of occasions and the girl kept apologising for this. I feel that my experience was not as expected and did not match the reputation of the Champneys Spa. My brazilian wax is totally off centre and many sporadic hairs were not removed but broken by the rough waxing experience. Sadly, I feel like I would not return to have this treatment again.

Hannah at Champneys was fab and went very gently on my weak nails even when removing the old gels I had on there! The one thing I would say which is probably not up to the individual salon but more so Champneys is the price for gel removals is extortionate! £15 for 5 minutes to remove some gels is ridiculous and doesn't make me feel valued as a repeat customer.
That said Hannah was wonderful and made me feel very pampered, even after an 8 hour flight that morning!
