Very good spa treatments I enjoyed the massage only downside is there's no swimming pool only a jacuzzi and the sauna and steak room is not unisex. Restaurant and hotel is very good
The spa deal for 2 appeared to be very good value.
Pre-spa lunch: the 2 course lunch was nice enough, but two things jarred. 1. Arriving into hotel restaurant, the guy at the desk ignored us until it just became rude. Eventually his female colleague seated us. 2. They had a one-man 'easy-listening' musical accompaniment to lunch. It was brutal! Ear-splitting, off-putting, nerve-jangling - literally the LEAST RELAXING pre-spa experience Ive ever had. There were people of all ages in the restaurant and I don't know why nobody else asked for the staff to make it stop. We inhaled lunch and got out of there, having been unable to hear ourselves or each other.
Spa: girls on front desk - great. Could have been clearer about form-filling, where to wait etc. That's minor.
Sauna and steam room: both clean and functional. Not mixed though, sadly. Relaxation area: nice. Not enough seating so ppl were holding beds with towels while they went elsewhere.
Outdoor hot tub: just weird! 3 floors up, balcony corner hot tub, wind whipping round the side of the building while you watch cars drive the Mercedes track below. Big hot tub, quite nice otherwise!
My partner and I had full body massage, in the same room which was unexpected as it wasn't what we had ordered. We didn't mind too much as the massages were the real reason we booked the spa. The masseuses were AMAZING! Wish I'd gotten their names but they were both so good at their jobs, as well as friendly and personable. I'd only go back to Brooklands for the massage with one of those masseuses.
Overall, I'd give it 3-4 stars.
I booked this spa day for myself and three friends as a treat for one of our friends birthday. We were very excited and booked over a month ago and ensured on multiple occasions it was booked.
One of the parties kindly ordered a bottle of prosecco the day before to enjoy on the day but was charged nearly £300 (without being told the cost) as staff charged her again for the spa day.
Since this the treatment we have received has not been great - my friend still has not been refunded and I am repeatedly asked for the voucher again despite sending it multiple times and booking it all the way back in January.
It's a lovely spa but they need to treat their guests with a little more respect as this is now increasingly unnacceptable
