When we arrived we were shown to the public swimming pool changing rooms (rather than the spa) which were run down, smelt like damp and the toilet door didn't lock which wasn't the best start to our relaxing day.
After the spa we went for lunch at 3.30 (which is hardly peak time) the service was terribly slow... after an hour wait we received our food (nachos) which were cold.
When we went to check in... We were told our room was actually for Sunday night- which as you can see on the booking confirmation is incorrect and no fault of our own. Instead of being accommodating, the staff made us feel very awkward and took a long time to make any arrangements, while we waited in reception in our damp spa wear. Eventually we were given a room after a lot of fuss.
As a final note, the water pressure in our room really needed looking at as there was barely enough to wash the shampoo out of my hair (and some conditioner would have been nice).
The member of staff who carried out my massage was friendly and efficient and very welcoming. However, I waited at the reception desk for 10 minutes before anyone came to acknowledge me - if you are new to the spa, as I was, it would be helpful to have a member of staff on the reception desk to greet you.
