Hotel is really kept and prestige looking even in the bedroom until u look real close can see it an old hotel and quiet overused. This did not bother me much. Dinner was fabulous! However weren't offered the free glass of wine or the tapas. Now the spa facilities lovely ambience although the 2nd jacuzzi was freezing cold. Few ppl milling but nice quiet space. Bought a massage which I can only describe as nice. Girl didn't really want to out her back into it. Facial was basic. In the end I fell asleep on the table. Beachside is not far away easy walking distance. Had a gd time.
The rooms are not fitted with air conditioning so if you go within hot months then all you get is a very low powered fan we had to keep the main door open for a while as the heat was really bad. We stayed on the third floor and our shower in our room was not powerful at all and the head needed replacing. Couldn't fault spa girls, my massage was lovely and relaxing and the spa area was nice. The hotel staff are really friendly but the hotel itself was a bit of a let down
We bought this deal for our first anniversary. A three course dinner and breakfast were included, along with a 30 minute spa treatment. Absolute bargain. The hotel is only a five minute walk from the beach.
Good location but hotell was to expencive for the spa. Dinnner was tasteless, room warm and both iron and hairdryer gave me a electric shock.
The spa facilities are ok at best, the showers in the spa treatment rooms were a lot cleaner than the other shower I used after I tried out the hotel gym facilites (the showers were really dirty & are located near the spa but not in the treatment rooms), the customer service varied e.g. the bar staff and general reception were polite and helpful, a mix bag however with the spa staff who at one point I felt was very rude and complained to reception (please note this was not all spa staff just a select few). The enzyme mud wrap really did nothing for me personally, I just felt very thirsty after and my skin felt exactly the same.... when asking the beauty therapist about what was in the wrap she did pull out the big plastic tub and read a few of the ingredients e.g. caffeine. I felt I could have done this treatment myself at home, the massage on my head was very brief & minimal, along side the same massage oil being placed in my face (which I washed off once back to my hotel). My hotel I was staying in was different from this one and I had travelled to Hallmark Spa hoping for a relaxing experience based on the reviews. Overall I felt not relaxed at all when leaving (actually more stressed to be honest... i just wanted to leave asap) and I really do wish I saved my money, headed down to the beach or something else etc. I personally did not enjoy this experience and I hope the hotel takes this feedback in to consideration for the future.
