Hotel had a lovely friendly feel. Food was always hot and delicious. Spa had a relaxing feel, could do with a lick of paint in areas. Treatment rooms where relaxing and quiet. Would recommend this hotel, spa package was great value for money.
Great and enthusiastic staff! Facilities very good. Rooms could do with a refurb but very clean and no problems. Breakfast lovely also! It's location to the beach (10 mins walk) is excellent!
Very enjoyably bisit
Disappointed by our spa day. First off we weren't previously told we had to bring thehard copy of our voucher (i booked the day about 4 months ago and she took the voucher code but didn't say to bring it with us) so we had an issue from the get go. On check in we opted to get the robes and slippers and they were handed to us in a plastic bag as if we were being signed into prison. Tour was as expected, young lad very friendly and nice. Changing rooms very small, dark and dirty (chipped tiles and broken toilet door that you had to use your foot to shut), one tiny shower cubicle i didnt feel comfortable using (dirty) . Was advised by my husband there were no changing cubicles in gents so its all out in the open. Swimming pool and spa rooms were ok. Lots of mould dotted around the place (don't look up in the pool if you value cleanliness). Massages were ok, nowhere near worth the £50 tag, didn't ask if i have any problem areas or what sort of things if had before. No choice of oils and spent a lot of time on my back and only a few mins on each leg and arm, didnt massage arms once laying on back either so felt unfinished. We had afternoon tea included but they didnt ask for any allergies etc and we are vegetarian, i gave them the heads up about 30 mins before we went up to eat and ended up sat in the restaurant for a good 10 mins before we were served any drinks, only one waitress working so not her fault but they need more staff! The waitress was lovely but obviously struggling to keep up. Afternoon tea arrived and it was odd to say the least we had sloppy roast veg, cucumber and beetroot hummus (literally one slice of cucmber) and egg mayo sandwiches. Cakes were nice but small selection. We ended up leaving our spa day after two hours. Id save the £130ish and book somewhere else, it felt like your average leisure club and totally not worth the money and time.
Lovely treatment with a great beauty therapist.
