The place is tired, needs some tlc! The steam room wasn’t working, the jacuzzi was so hot that someone had to put a hose in it to cool it down before anyone could get in it. It needs a bit of a revamp down there, missing tiles, worn, grubby areas, didn’t fancy a shower as it wasn’t the best, neither was the toilet!
The massage that I had was lovely, the therapist was friendly, food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The spa facilities are good, but a little tired and because the complex is situated in the basement of the hotel, it feels a bit dark and unluxurious. The pool was cold, but the jacuzzi was like a bath. The changing rooms are very small and it was difficult to get changed in such a narrow space. The 2 private cubicles were occupied.
The upstairs covered pool and sun terrace area was fabulous and we were lucky it was a sunny day. The therapist was fabulous and the treatment was wonderful.
