I had the highlights package and added a toner and cut/blow-dry on top. Gino worked on my hair and spent lots of time assessing my hair and understanding what I was after before we started. I was very happy with the result and would go back again. Adding the cut/blow dry and toner came to around £70 on top of what I spent on Wahanda.
Hair Colouring
The salon was clean but a bit tired looking. The staff were really friendly and made me feel really comfortable. She cut and styled my hair as i asked, but didnt seem confident enough to offer sugestions. The treatment was really great an my really dry ends feel much better. Overall i think for a trim and treatment its great value for money. But if you want a style change, i would probably suggest somewhere with older more confident staff would would be able to advised you better.
Ladies' Haircuts
Sarah did my hair adnd was really lovely and friendly. She took time to go over the colour options to suit my hair. Overall very happy with the result and would go back.
Hair Colouring
Really friendly team. Had half head highlights on the offer and a cut and blowdry and really pleased with both. Although it was late in the day, it didn't feel rushed at all, which was great!

I booked into Body Essential in a 'hair panic' and had a good experience. Paula was my stylist and she gave me an excellent cut, exactly what I asked for and I am very pleased indeed. The only things to be aware of are:
- The salon had no hair look books or inspiration materials for haircuts. This might have been an issue had I not had a really fixed idea of what I wanted (and had brought photos with me).
- Paula, though excellent, did "not like messy hair" therefore, as the client, I ended up doing a bit of the finishing messiness and styling myself. I've got no problems whatsoever with personal preference but, c'mon, I'm the client here.
- The music played was like 'Balkan Klub Klassics' and, whilst I have pretty eclectic tastes, it was a bit loud and a bit much in an almost empty salon.
- I'm not sure they remembered about the 'conditioning treatment' bit, if they did it only seemed to take 30 seconds, and was not accompanied by the nice extras of a head massage that usually are included in these sorts of treatments.
All in all a good experience, very good value, last minute booking and am really pleased with my haircut. Would I return? Probably, but only for a hair cut and probably not for a 'relaxing' treatment.
