I had shellac mani/pedi and unfortunately I was not happy with the treatments.
For the pedicure I had to lay down on a massage bed in one of the little rooms upstairs - which had dust on the floor and radiator (and some dirt in a shower that was attached to the room). The whole situation made me very uncomfortable. I've never been through anything like this.
For the manicure I was taken downstairs to the saloon - which looked tidier. However, the manicure itself was not how I expected. The lady didn't do my cuticles - they were only pushed. I had to tidy them up afterwards. (The lady did however confirm that the treatment included cuticle work.) There was no disinfecting liquid in the little cup with the manicure tools.. Also, 2 days later the nail polish of 2 of my fingers was already coming off! I believe the shellac nail polish was not properly "sealed" to my nails.. and I paid £78 for the services. Bottom line, maybe I was just unfortunate but I won't be coming back.
