Very poor massage. Very miserable staff. Not worth the money

The relaxation room where we had to wait for the therapist was freezing cold, no heating at all especially as we were sitting in wet costumes from the pool.
The therapist was very abrupt, ten minutes late for a 25 minute treatment. When I commented that I hope my treatment would not be cut short she was very rude and defensive. She did cut my treatment short by 5 minutes so I paid £60 for a 20 minute very rough treatment.

We booked a groupon deal directly with the hotel and it was very easy and straightforward. Lovely hotel and very friendly, professional staff. Easy to park on site and received coffee and tea on arrival. We all received a wonderful full body Swedish massage which we would thoroughly recommend! The atmosphere was peaceful and the two course lunch (with prosecco) was more like a two course dinner! Fantastic. Would reccomend having massage prior to the lunch as we were quite full afterwards and were glad that we had already had our treatment. Only things that slightly let it down was there was not a lot of seating around the pool and guests 'reserved' this with their towels while they went elsewhere. Also the spa itself was a bit basic compared to some spas however we still really enjoyed it and would definitely return for another visit.

We loved this hotel, the staff were great, food was delicious and well presented. Treatments were excellent. Very efficient service. My only negative is the lack of beds around the pool, there were only 6 which were in use, so I was unable to chill pool side but I was able to use the relaxation room. We throughly enjoyed our day, and both said we definitely come back. Great value for money.
