Tea and coffee on arrival in the lovely bar area, the hotel is nicely decorated and all staff were lovely. The spa is small so there is a pool sauna and steam which are all lovely but due to size not many loungers to sit and chat if spending the whole day there round the indoor pool. Use of the pool for guests of the hotel so can get fairly busy. The treatments were amazing, therapists fantastic and the lunch was absolutely stunning in the outside courtyard on a beautiful sunny april day. For the price the spa day is absolutely brilliant value for money and i would go again!

A fabulous spa day for myself and my daughter. Great value for money. Clean facilities. Loved the relaxation room. The massage and facial we had were one of the best I’ve had. Staff were so polite and friendly. We had a choice of afternoon tea or 2 course lunch. We opted for the tea and the choice was excellent. We ended up taking half of it home as there was so much. Will definitely be returning

use this spa every time they have a deal on group-on, was very disappointed as paid the fee to group-on, arrived to the spa, the lady had not booked myself and my partner in at all, we then had to pay another fee to actually receive the treatment even though we had proof of the booking. (treatments were not together so whole day spent on our own) the lady on reception was very rude as there had clearly been a mistake on their end. because of this it has really put us off going to the spa again.

The spa was nice and the girls that worked there were also professional and friendly (saying that, perhaps the receptionist could work on her customer service skills slightly).
Overall the massage was of a good standard however i paid extra for a deep tissue massage and i didn’t really think that’s what I got. I have them quite regularly and it was quite soft in comparison to others I have had.
The sauna, pool, and steam room were all nice, the gym is quite small and very hot, and the overall hotel is really tired so I wouldn’t stay there again.
