The hotel was very welcoming and the staff very helpful and polite.
The masseuse was brilliant and I had a great 50 min massage. Afterwards we used the pool and spa facilities. This consists of a hot tub, steam room and sauna.
All the facilities were clean and inviting.
The only complaint, if any, was the dinner. The food itself was great....when it turned up. From being seated we waited over 30 mins for food, which can be the norm in most restaurants.
However, on your initial arrival to the hotel, you're asked to pre book your meal and pudding choices and select an allotted time to be in the restaurant. Based on that, you'd expect your meal to almost be waiting for you. Other than that, we really enjoyed the day and would happily do it again.
