It was a good treatment, just a bit too expensive.
Excellent
We had a lovely time at the spa. The staff was friendly, helpful and attentive. The relaxation room was amazing. We loved our treatments and the prosecco lunch was tasty and generous in size. The pool and spa area were clean and well decorated. The changing rooms were too. The only one thing that was missing for me was a dispenser of plastic bags to put my wet swim suits at the end of the day. I have been to other spas you provide them and it is a great idea. Will hopefully come again.
Myself and my partner had the unwind spa day and overall we were very pleased with the experience. We had full body aromatherapy massages which were very good and very relaxing. Our food choice was afternoon tea which was delicious. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional both at the hotel reception and in the spa. There were a couple of down sides to the day but they were very minor. In the relaxation room the ventilation/air con system seems to make a rattling noise. It not very loud but it is noticeable. Nearing the end of the day people staying in the hotel used the pool area and they were being very noisy. Luckily we had left the pool area by this time and were using the relaxation room but they could still be heard in other areas of the spa. If we had still been using the pool area we would have complained about the noise.
The hotel staff were friendly and polite but unfortunately when we went down to the Spa the reception we received was a little cold. A friendly smile and general welcome was missing. There was a functional “can you fill this form out” “what’s your room number” felt awkward and cold. Staff standing around in silence lack of etiquette for front of house staff. The member of staff that performed the treatment was very good though. We felt they needed so front of house training on how to welcome guests and be a little more inviting.
