Disappointing venue. We had 2 x treatments that were absolutely fantastic and relaxing that was the best part of the spa day. after the treatments we went to the pool, the facilities were so outdated, the ceiling was filthy and parts were breaking off, the edges and corners of the pool area were not clean. The steam room was out of order but we were not told beforehand so no point being in that area really. We paid for cream tea and was a little disappointed, the scones were cakes,

Would be good to be able to wear the towelling robes in the restaurant in order to have a snack. Other spa days in other hotels allow this and it is more convenient and not nice to put back on a wet swimming costume. If made aware in advance we could have brought spares
