Having had some bad experiences when trying new hairdressers after booking online, Blooms Hair thankfully exceeded all of my expectations. The salon was busy when I arrived, and I was worried that my appointment would be delayed, but it wasn't. A lovely assistant took my coat and brought me a drink before then washing my hair. The stylist had a brief consultation with me to discuss my requirements, and she was responsive to my comments and seemed to understand my hairtype very well. She then cut my hair beautifully, and the blow dry was lovely for a restyle. For once I left a hairdresser not hating what they'd done and I will definitely be going back!

Small salon, nothing fancy but really lovely friendly staff and an excellent cut. I also liked the fact they were quick! No rushed but just got on with it. Would definitely go back.

The first worker in the salon was on a personal call on her cell phone and did not acknowledge my existence. The second person gave a luke warm smile, checked me in, and had me sit down. I looked around the location and noted that all of the staff had their hair pulled back in some simple, had to get ready quickly to get to work type of way. Luke warm person took me to the chair to have a wash. I thought she was going to do the wash, but someone else snuck up behind be to complete the task. She did nice job, but I am not sure who she was. Matt, my hairdresser, did not tell me his name until I asked him well into my cut. My haircut is fine, but it certainly was not due to his suggestions for a creative, fun, cut. I would not go there again.

Overall it was an ok experience - nothing special. I wasn't overjoyed with how it looked and the stylist didn't seem too bothered, I think he was more interested in finishing for the evening as I was his last customer! The salon itself is quite nice.
