It was an interesting experience. I arrived at the salon on time and it was all closed up - called the owner and was told to wait outside as the nail technician was running late. She arrived about 3 min later but it was a little awkward as I was standing there while she was running around getting things sorted, it was cold - no heating had been on and I actually felt a bit out of place.
I would have expected more out of the ultimate Pedi package that i'd booked. It didnt cover everything i'd received in other salons or perhaps not with the same flair. The technician cut my toe-nails very short and slightly skew (Though I am a perfectionist) and said that I had an ingrown toe-nail which was incorrect as I'd had a pedi 6 weeks before and it definitely wasnt an issue then. She also cut my baby toe while working on it which bled. Basically, it was a sore pedi which often had me flinching or pulling my foot away - not what i've experienced previously.
Wearing my shoes for the next few days afterwards was tender and sore around my toes.
All in all - not sure whether it was the initial welcome or the atmosphere, the cold or the pain but I definitely wouldn't recommend it and I wont be going back.
