Not a good job unfortunately. kept saying my nails were too short and the polish was messy but I've had my nails done shorter than this. just made me feel a bit uncomfortable

I was told to come later than my appointment time with no explanation; when I showed up at the new time the salon looked closed with shutters down. My manicurist arrived several minutes later and explained the shutters were broken. It’s not the salon’s fault that they had a technical hitch but I was then asked if I wanted to come back later or cancel as she had other clients to fit in. I said I couldn’t and she agreed to do my nails. She did them well but she answered her phone several times during the appointment which felt unprofessional and led to me feeling my manicure wasn’t being concentrated on. The salon is cash only, which I hadn’t realised, so I went to get cash afterwards. When I returned, the salon was locked and I had to knock to get back in. I was then not given enough change but felt that I was being hurried out of the door so didn’t feel able to protest although I should have done. My gel manicure only lasted three days. Not a good experience and only partly due to events beyond my manicurist’s control.
