Therapist was 15 minutes late, zero ambience as the room was downstairs and you could hear everyone else charging around upstairs, unfortunately and I don’t know how to say this in a polite way but the therapists fingers smelt very strongly of garlic (not what you want when she is rubbing them all over your face). She put gloves on only half way through extractions so if this is to prevent infection whilst my pores were open having just been steamed there really was no point. A head massage was performed during treatment which she did not tell me she was going to do and thus smeared oil all through my clean hair. No form was requested from me to ask what medications/allergies/ health conditions I have even though I mentioned this. At the end of the treatment, dermalogica calming gel water was applied and that was it. No serums, no heavier moisteriser and I had to request eye cream which I was given as they felt dry. When I asked for product recommendations at the end she suggested products that the shop does not even stock. I feel bad leaving such an abysmal review because the lady was lovely but I equally I feel it is necessary to prevent other clients wasting their time. This is the second time I have used Treatwell at two different salons and honestly have been let down both times. Think I might just make my bookings in advance in the future with reputable therapists.
