I had a Hollywood wax - the wax itself was good, it was very quick and the lady used gloves which is a good hygiene indicator. There was fresh paper on the bed and the lady was nice and reassuring during the wax (which was painful because it was my first one in a while, so the roots were strong). She also did the press and hold which helped with the pain. However - I was charged £15 extra because I received a hot wax and what I prepaid for was a strip wax. But this was not checked in advance of the service so I was put on the spot after the wax was already done. I couldn’t pay by card either, so I had to find an ATM and then return with the money. I think this could have been more organised, the details of the appointment could have been checked before the service. Also the lady was getting annoyed with me when I explained that I paid in advance and that I received a deal on the service even though this was not checked or explained to me before the service. There was no stool or anything to put my clothes on so I had to leave my bag and my clothes on the floor. I don’t think I’ll return because of these reasons - it’s a shame because the service itself was good.
