This morning I woke up with all of my eyelashes. This afternoon I had an LVL treatment at Beauty on the Spot, which left me in agony, with swollen eyelids and half of the lower lashes of my left eye missing.
During the treatment, when my left eye started to burn, I informed the member of staff immediately (who hadn't once spoken to me during my appointment), who stated 'oh it's because you have short eyelashes'...well yes, that's why I'm having LVL. She squirted a drop of water into my eye which eased the burning for a moment and then left the room. On her return I advised that my eye was still burning and felt like it was on fire. She continued with the treatment explaining again that I have short eyelashes.
Once finished, my eyelids were swollen, and the manager (Dee) took the time to rinse my eyes again which did help initially.
On my return to the office I noticed that a number of my eyelashes had disappeared - they in effect look like they have been singed. I called Beauty on the Spot to inform them of this, they asked me to come back in, which I did.
I saw Dee again, who spent the entire time explaining how this couldn't have been their fault, simply stating that 'if it was the tint then all of your eyelashes would have fallen out'. The fact of the matter is that I had all of my eyelashes this morning, and now I don't. I did not receive an apology, any acceptance of blame or any compensation for a treatment that was supposed to leave me with longer looking lashes, and has left me with less.
I advise anyone attending Beauty on the Spot for an LVL treatment to not do so, unless it's actually a minimal eyelash look you are going for.
I would leave zero stars but that is sadly not an option.

I've been here couple of times already - it's not chic or anything and staff is just medium level of friendly but the eyebrow threading itself is very decent, and takes just a couple of minutes.
