First of all I want to begin this review by saying that I have been a loyal customer of this salon for the past few years.
The therapists always do the best job on my nails and any waxing treatment I had with them.
The main issue I have is what I assume is the management of Beauty & Melody. It is practically impossible to get a treatment here without planning something like a few months in advance if you want to do it at a convenient time during a week day. You would think that this is due to the success of this salon but really it's just bad time/people management. Most girls are busy with laser (which is fair enough, that's why it would be booked up so far in advance) but the reality is that while laser is getting done on customers you cannot get say a manicure because the same people have to do it. So while the girls are booked up with laser no other treatments takes place in the salon. Manicure tables essentially are just empty.
Secondly, for gel nails, specifically, the salon is not capable of ordering any new colors. They ran of the old ones but the new ones have been ''coming in'' for about 3 months now. This to me also shows bad management as it isn't rocket science to order new nail polish, it is a pretty basic requirement for a beauty salon.
Again, these are complaints of a regular customer who visits the salon 3-4 times a month as I have been doing, which is why they are so specific.
Overall, it has become an increasing headache try to find a time that suits me in order to get a treatment at this salon.
Good luck to anyone who tries to make a booking! I think I will go elsewhere.
Love this place! I had Russian hair tape extensions it was the first time I've ever had extensions as I have very very thin weak hair and was worried about getting them. Almost cried when I saw the results!! Absolutely love them. The staff are fantastic and made my experience amazing. They are so helpful full of advice honest and reassuring. I definitely recommend this salon and will be going back. Thank you!!
A massive disappointment on a costumer service side.
lost a evening by attending to this appointment, Happy to spend more money else where.
They don't care about a client been happy.. they only car about how much money goes into the till.

I had been travelling and I could not write the review ,but few month ago I went to Beauty and Melody near Marble Arch for roots colur retouch and trim the length ,the stylist did not speak a clear English language ,she gave me a terrible haircut and color ,the haircut was ,2 inches shorter than I asked for and layered ,I did not ask for layers,when I saw myself in the mirror ,I wanted to cry ,the color did not match on my color of the rest of my hair ,Maria the receptionist told me very rude and very gentle way that I was acting ,but the truth is that my hair looked like a rainbow of 3 colors as the colorist gave me 3 different shades on my blonde hair ,when I was was only blonde when I came in.I had a really bad experience ,and a bad customer service .
As a student it is rare that I have my hair done due to finances. However yesterday I decided to treat myself as it is mine and my partners 10th anniversary tomorrow. I have been to beauty and melody many times and usually I am very pleased with the outcome, so decided to go to them.
I got an offer for highlights for £89 but when I arrived I was told I would also need a toner and I usually have low lights too, which means it wouldl be £139 instead (no one's fault). Although this is much more than I could afford I decided to go for it.
Really wish I hadn't bothered. I went in with natural looking dark blonde hair (albeit not natural at all) and came out with stripey dark brunette and blonde stripes!! Absolutely mortified!!! I told the hairdresser that I thought it looked dark and he assured me it was the same colour as it was before I went in......hhmmmm! Feeling really tearful and not sure how it can be rectified without completely over dying my hair. I guess I shall be having our special anniversary looking like a zebra.
I have to say that my hairdresser (and all other staff) were very friendly and attentive. And I really think he just didn't understand what I was saying and asking for.
