Beautiful salon. Friendly & attentive hairdresser. She gave me a lovely head massage during my hair wash and the blowdry was fantastic. Had so many compliments. Will definitely be returning. Great location too.

My first trip to Beauty and Melody, certainly did not disappoint. I was greeted with a warm and lively reception from the girls at the desk. I was seated with a whole host of interesting and glossy magazines to read and the added bonus of a tier of quality street style chocolates to whet my appetite. My hair appointment was taken by Artistic Director Mel, a gorgeous and vivacious girl in her late twenties who I took to instantly. She led me across the shabby chic interior and past an immaculately white piano (first time I’ve seen a piano in the middle of a salon, and if I’d had the time and the audience I would have sat and played a few tunes!) I hadn’t heard of the “organic” products before, though I am now tempted by them, considering the pungent and pleasant smell, and the finish they gave my hair, incredibly shiny and easily manageable. Mel was fairly swift with the cut and gave me one of the best blow dry’s I’ve had at a hair salon. My only criticism – whilst I was having my hair washed, there was a great deal of hoovering going on which disturbed the peace and leisure of having my hair intensely massaged by Mel. I realise that hoovering is unavoidable in the salon but, perhaps encourage staff to tidy whilst it is quieter. I will undoubtedly, go back to Beauty and Melody and to Mel, she was full of life, a very chatty Aussie and a skilled hair dresser. Keep up the good work!

My hairdresser was great and super friendly. She really listened to my ideas and we then decided on a suitable mix of colour for the highlights and the cut. My hairdresser had to act as receptionist as well, so she ran off a few times to attend to other clients who just walked in, so there was quite a lot of waiting involved. Upon arrival, the service used to be better. I was ignored for twenty minutes with my jacket in hand. The staff also had no idea about how these pre-paid vouchers work. In terms of hair colour and cut a great experience though.

This was a lovely salon in a great part of London. Nailah who looked after me was fantastic, she gave me lots of advice on my hair and how to care for it before she cut it and I was really pleased with the result. I would travel up to London gaain just to get it cut by her.
