What a shame. I’ll start by saying I’ve been using this salon for over 5 years and have left many a 5 star review in the past. But it has changed. Their are new owners who I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to, however after today I will not be going back. Rumi and Gabi have left.
I arrived at 10am for my appointment and the salon was locked with the shutters down. I waited. At 10.10am there was still no one there. I called the number and no one answered. By chance I spotted someone and asked what was happening. She was my hairdresser for the day it turned out. At 10.20 the owner arrived to open up. Their salon was dirty. As I was the first customer of the day it was a surprise to find hair and clippers left lying around. Surely this should have been tidied and cleaned at the end of the previous day? There were no notes on my previous appointments so the hairdresser had to guess what to do with my colour. They couldn’t do the haircut as they didn’t have scissors! The hairdresser was super kind and clearly in a bad situation and I don’t blame her at all! The owner spent a lot of time on her phone rather than other useful jobs such as cleaning up the filthy salon or tidying away the threading equipment they had used. No real apology or reason was offered for the delay to my appointment. I hate leaving bad reviews but given how well I have reviewed this salon previously it felt only right to now give an updated review given the significant changes. The stylist was fine but in a bad situation. I’m sad to say I will not be visiting this salon again.
