What started well with a friendly greeting at reception went rapidly downhill with the treatment itself.
The treatment room is separated from the reception area with a sliding door meaning that you can hear everything going on outside - not very relaxing. For the duration of my treatment, the lady at reception spoke loudly with a client on the phone about a disagreement over a booking and a refund.
The room was so small that the treatment table was up against the wall, meaning that you have to get into a pretty uncomfortable position for the therapist to access the necessary area for a Brazilian wax.
The therapist was pretty slap dash with the treatment - it was supposed to be done with hot wax, but she did the final tidying up of the central part with strip wax - the most painful part to use strip wax on!
She didn’t bother to remove any of the hair from the back/behind and left a totally uneven central strip. (I appreciate that I could be criticised for not saying anything at the time, but the therapist left the room so abruptly, that it took me a minute to realise that she’d actually finished the treatment and wasn’t coming back!)
When paying, the lady who was outside said something to the therapist in another language - the therapist then informed me that the card machine was broken and they were only accepting cash... even though I had seen a previous customer paying via card when I was sitting in reception prior to my treatment!
Won’t be returning.
