I booked an appointment on my lunch break at 1pm. Unfortunately the lady painting my nails didn't come and get me from the waiting room until twenty past one. She didn't explain or apologise for the late running , and when I checked that the treatment would only last half an hour (my lunch break is only one hour ) she seemed quite annoyed at being asked. She was very quick and the nails looked good at the end but four days later the varnish has chipped quite badly on one of my big toes
I booked for a gel mani and pedi through a Treatwell special offer email. Never been to the salon. It was fine, good location and my lady was very nice. There was nothing apart from the gel polish though. No exfoliation, hard skin removal, massage, and I had to ask for cuticle work. This wasn't soaking, she just pushed them back, very roughly. To me, that's what a manicure and pedicure include, otherwise it's a simple file and gel polish?! Removal of gel is expensive here, £10 for hands and £10 again for feet, which was just filed off, no soaking. I wasn't offered a drink, I had to ask for one which she was a bit reluctant about, as she had to ask the hair salon upstairs to use their facilities.
I love the polish, very good and my nails look amazing. It was cheap and cheerful, but do not expect a relaxing pamper experience. You get what you pay for at this place.
