Very quick and efficient
I should start out by saying that I was late for my appointment (thought it was at 1:30 instead of 12:30), but they gave me a ring to see where I was and were still able to take me, which I was really grateful for. The manicurist was initially quite brusque but eventually warmed up. She worked quickly and efficiently, and even managed to do my pedi (she wasn't sure there would be enough time, since I was late). So that was great. As for the venue and what the service itself entails, they're both a bit lacking. The beauty area of the salon is on the lower ground level, in a rather dark space with no real charm or ambiance. Not even any music playing. The manicure didn't involve any soaking of my fingers, cuticle trimming or hand massage - she just went straight in with the cuticle stick, which was a bit painful. Likewise with the pedicure, I didn't get to sit in a pedicure chair or soak my feet, or get any skin sloughing. I was just in the wheelie chair I'd sat in for my manicure. Maybe that's what you get for booking a discounted service, but I thought it worth mentioning!
Happy with the results
I arrived on time and was forwarded to the waiting room by one of the hairdressers. There were drinks for selfservice etc but I did not enjoy any since, at the time, I was unsure if I could (she basically pointed the way and said "you can wait there"). After 1 hour waiting I went to check why the delay and actually just inform them I was leaving (I wasn't to happy with the service). When I told one of the gentleman and the receptionist that I had been waiting for 1 hour, they checked their system and I was never "checked in",so they didn't even know I was there waiting! (Good excuse but totally unprofessional). The beautician was fully booked so I received a "I'm sorry I don't know what to say" from them and just left. The later two people dealing with mt issue seemed friendly and honest enough about the mistake but I was not expecting this kind of situation to happen in a over 4 stars rated salon. I was going to do a Hollywood waxing since I'm leaving to Paris for my 9th anniversary. I left the salon feeling upset and fustrated that 1 hour of my life was wasted waiting for anything at all!!

The visit took a bit longer than I would have anticipated by Francesca did a great job on my hair, the ombré looked really natural and was blended well!
